Statement of desired courses: Duration of undergraduate studies is four years (8 semesters). At the beginning of each semester at a date announced by the Secretary of the School, students must submit electronically at http://web.itc.auth.gr (electronic student services) a statement of the courses they wish to attend. There is an exclusive deadline for submitting the statement. After this date there is no possibility to submit any statement in any form (electronic or other). Each course (unless it is stated otherwise) is credited with 6 ECTS. The total amount of ECTS may not exceed 30 for each semester.
Course examination: There are three examination periods. For courses taught in either fall and spring semester there are two exam periods. The first is immediately after the end of the semester, (January and June), and the second is set for September. For repeated courses (courses with the same code and same instructor that appear in both semesters), there is no examination period for September. For courses with the same code, but a different instructor September examination period applies. The university’s grading scale is 1 to 10. The minimum passing grade is 5 (good).
Prerequisite courses: The courses with codes ICT I and P 600 Education Research Methodology are prerequisite courses for attending ICT II. Equally, course of Ancient Greek or Latin, Modern Greek, Linguistics, History, School Education I and II, are prerequisite courses for attending all the Teaching Methodology Courses.Undergraduate thesis: In the eighth semester of their studies, students can decide to write a thesis after negotiation the topic with their tutors. If the final result of the thesis is deemed sufficient, the student is credited with 10 ECTS and may replace the two Free Elective Courses.

Το νέο πρόγραμμα σπουδών (ΝΠΣ) ισχύει από τον Σεπτέμβριο 2013 για όσους/ες φοιτητές/τριες έχουν εισαχθεί στο Τμήμα από το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2011-2012 και εξής: για τη λήψη πτυχίου απαιτείται η συμπλήρωση 240 ECTS, που αντιστοιχούν σε 45 μαθήματα.
